Trivandrum: Tata Elxsi, a global design and technology services company, and Suzuki Motor Corporation, a Japanese mobility manufacturer, have inaugurated the Suzuki Tata Elxsi Cloud HIL Center in Trivandrum, India.
This dedicated facility is Suzuki’s first full-vehicle cloud-enabled Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation center and marks the second engineering hub under the Tata Elxsi–Suzuki partnership, following the Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Pune.

Suzuki Tata Elxsi Cloud HIL Center: Driving Software-Defined Vehicle Programs
The Suzuki Tata Elxsi Cloud HIL Center is purpose-built for full-vehicle simulation and validation using cloud-native infrastructure.
By enabling Suzuki’s global development and testing teams to remotely access HIL infrastructure integrated with Electronic Control Units (ECUs), the center reduces reliance on physical prototypes, accelerates validation cycles, and supports faster delivery of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs).
Integration of Verification, Validation, and Test Automation
Leveraging Tata Elxsi’s strengths in automotive Verification and Validation (V&V), test automation, and simulation, the Suzuki Tata Elxsi Cloud HIL Center enhances development speed, ensures higher quality, and creates a robust, future-ready platform.
It supports Suzuki’s “SDV Right” global strategy for Electrical and Electronic (E/E) Virtual Development by enabling continuous integration, faster release cycles, and system reliability.
